now i'm not even going to say that it's feasible to still get one, but for someone like you who is keeping the bodywork - there was a racing ram air intake that was made back in the day for the '54. it ran much more air, and because it was 1 way in instead of 2 way - it was ram air too. it led to a big gain in air.

it looks like this

you'd have to do an endurance race light to make it work for the street - but it could be done

you'd have to do an endurance race headlight.

like this. except for a 954

it's just an idea. like i said, you have to get more airflow. and it's hard with the 2 inlets and small snorkels....

Can you show us how did you do with 1000rr TB's? I'm going to do this project for my track bike, and my CBR929 954cc JE piston kit need efficiency fuel, please

the short answer is - it won't work for you.

not unless you build a custom airbox/plenum, run a microsquirt (or custom) ECU, and are willing to rework the gas tank in order to fit the 1000rr fuel pump (you'd need to braze on some metal to hold the fuel pump).

you should use 954 TBs. that's a pretty easy mod and you'd see gains from it. i have a set i can sell to you too if you want them

i just had a discussion about it in my fighter thread. i don't have it done yet, but i'm working on it. i'll have pics for you though once i get it done. the 1000rr does everything completely different - that's the reason why it's going to be so hard. but my gas tank is going to be custom and i'm building my own intake plenum and using microsquirt instead of a 954 ECU.

i haven't seen them, but i'd assume you could build your own. the water pump is pretty simple. pull yours off and take it apart - you'll see. however, i know there is a sensor swap out there than can turn your fan on quicker (i.e. at a lower temperature). and you don't want too powerful of a water pump. it could be bad for your system (since the water pump runs off of the oil pump)

they're pretty quick turn around too. and they looked great. i have pics of them in my fighter build if you want to see what they look like. just a heads up - you don't need the f4 cam shims, they're the exact same part number as the 954's

Thanks for answering, it been helping me a lot to do with 1000 TB's.

I have done my CBR929rr with JE 954cc, 954 TB's(I can feel that good power grain ) hi cams(made by webcam). so that's why I am going to install more efficiency fuel rail on my bike...nice talk to you.

please show us your pics once you have done your fighter...
