I wanna be letsride when I grow up. I've been wanting to go to a track day never been, there is a track called chuckawalla out my way. I think I would need some practice though.

Im lacking in the sweet skills dept. right now but I suppose it would come with time.

You have to start some where. Ironhead is just jealous. I only did 12 trackdays last year.

Don't take the 954 much any longer, but ran lots of track miles on it. Great bike on or off the track!

Check with your track day provider. They will have a checklist for you.

Letsride. You need to get married and have some kids! That will cure your track day addiction....He is right Aviator. Check with the Trackday provider. I am sure they will have not only a list of any provisions for the bike, but protective wear as well. Air Jordans and a Tank top will put a halt to your day at Inspection....It will be the best $$$ you have ever spent! WARNING: It is "Highly" Addictive! Track days are like Potato Chips.....cant have just one.
Go prepared, hydrated and rested. Hit the Track with an open mind and "Listen" to the Coaching the Vets provide. You will put more skills in your pocket with 1 track day than a whole summer of street riding. Be prepared to run to the outhouse after your 1st session and pull on your wood! Its that much fun!

PS....Tell your Mechanic he is on crack and to find a different line of work...........

not only is is addictive, but there is a high probability that street riding just wont cut it for you anymore and feel really dangerous. be warned, and have fun!

the 954 is a terrible track bike and worse on the street. you should drop it off at my house with the keys and title, and walk away... jk
