Couldnt imagine a Track day without my baby! The swingarm has nothing to do with turning yourself into a Lawn dart.......This is a very Broad question that you ask. What are your intentions for the "Track"? Gain skills? go fast w/o risk of a ticket? What are the tracks? Some tracks are better suited for the middleweights. It sucks running the 954 and never getting out of third.....

I love my 954 on the track.Weights as much as a 600 but with extra power of 1k.Depends on rider, but I can keep up and pass most newer 1k bikes.Check out 1 of my videos.

Who gave you this info?? The 954 is a very good track day/race bike. If setup correctly it quite a bike. I however might want to seek advice from other people then you have been speaking to if I was you. Set it up right and go have a ball. The 954 can be very rewarding. It can bite also..... all bikes can though.

+1....I recall an article mentioning the fireblade is track born, they just added some street blinker/equipment to make it street legal....but there are a few things you need to get bike track ready.
