If you don't have the oem ecu i would get an aftermarket ecu (msd, woolich, megasquirt etc.). If you do have the oem ecu any aftermarket piggypack unit will work ( pc3/5, bazzaz, rapid bike etc.). Is the motor stock? If it is you won't do anything with the ignition controller. Rapid bike has a unit with fueling and ignition controller and then there is the old pc3r. With pc3usb and pc5 you will need a ignition module which is sold separetly. Bazzaz doesn't have ignition controller so with that you will have to use dynatek etc. But these need the oem ecu. Isn't the megasquirt allso capable of handling the ignition with out any separate boxes?

if i can resurrect this old thread,i have another question in the same ball park.so here we go,you gearheads that are familiar with chevy ls swaps, know that most swaps are done with factory computers and wiring harnesses.you also know that a lot of these harnesses are depinned to allow the user to remove certain systems to be removed from computer control.here's my question, can i depin the harness i have for my 954 drag only engine to remove things such as the bank angle sensor and kick stand sensor and any other i deem unnecessary to run the engine.of course this will be run with the stock honda computer.thanks
