So I'm loving my F3, but I've been mulling over the idea of moving up to a 929 or 954. Should I stick with the old F3 or move up?

Any advice, (even on other makes ie: yama/kawa/suzu) would be appreciated!

929's and 954's were two of the funnest bikes Ive ever had. Im thinking about picking up an Erion 929.

 

2 yrs ago, i was in your exact position. i had an F3, i loved it. i was starting to mod it and what not, and then i started toying around with the idea of a 954. well, i went for it, and im damn glad i did. my 954 handles WAY better than my f3 did (which i was suprised about), it feels better, and the power (well, you probably could guess how that compares to the f3). and the looks of the 954---way better than the f3.

another nice thig is that its newer and fuel injected. forget all the issues that come with age, and the stubborn carbs. not everyone has an f3, not everyone has a 954, so its still a rare bike as far as im concerned (however parts are easier to get for the 954).

you know, what it comes down to is... do i miss my F3? the answer is a resounding no. i cant think of one thing that i miss about my f3, and it was a smokin' joes.

Thanks for the help guys! Everything I read just adds or agrees to what you're saying.

I was thinking of installing a new exhaust, F4i gauges, tires etc... on the F3 but I think I'd rather just sell the bike and use the money towards something I won't be tired of in 6 months...know what I mean??

Anyway, I'll be on the hunt for a Fireblade...

One more thing, I know this is a debated topic but are there pros/cons to the 929 or 954? I could pick up a 929 for about $1000 less than a 954...strange I know but I'm in Korea so these bikes are rare.
