first, ebay is where i've bought almost everything except bearings, misc gaskets, and stuff like that. it's not ****, it's the ****. the kit that bacdoc posted is OEM. so this is the EXACT same kit that you'd spend $200 ordering from the dealer.
sure, brands are better than others, and OEM is usually the best. but you can find most of what you need/want on ebay from any brand and save a ton of money.
most of the ebay negatives are the dirt cheap stuff from china that's on there, like fairings, levers, brake discs, headlights, etc.
and most of that stuff is okay too. i've used "ebay" chinese levers - worked great, i've used chinese double bubbles - great. fairings are okay - but not near as good as oem
and second. the bike has to be level when filling oil. so it can't be leaned over when you check and fill. if it is on the side stand, that will cause it to over fill.
also, if you top it off after a long ride, the bikes oil system has de pressurized - and there's still a lot of oil up in the head, in the oil cooler, ports, etc. the lines to go by were designed for when you pull the bike out in the morning when the system isn't pressurized. so if you fill up when the bike is still warm, you'll fill up too much too.

ya man. i've yet to find a bike i don't like. especially a fireblade. the more custom it is, the more i'm gonna like it. just wasn't expecting a 929 frame and bodywork. so are you running 954 tb's too? ECU is still a 929 though isn't it?
