You really need to take the clutch apart and take a look. Something in there is coming apart. Look for witness marks on all the moving parts, something will be all scraped up.

My first thought is something about the input shaft and/or bearing. Its the only thing in there that stops turning in neutral when the clutch is pulled.

Took it to the shop got it towed guy was nice enough not to scratch my bike which I appreciate also met a new bike friend. they said they'll get to it this week hopefully. the tow guy also know a little something about bikes he said that it sounds like something to do with the clutch basket. When I took it to Midway they said that it sounds like something to do with the pressure plate possibly or maybe a clutch plate may have to get a new clutch or entire clutch assembly but paying to fix it is well worth it.

well if it's just a plate kit - that's not all that bad. you can get pressure plates and steel plates for under $100 easily. labor is still a bitch though as you have to drain oil and remove a side cover. but it's not the end of the world if that's all that's wrong. still though, i'll be curious to see what it is

Well I know its gonna be at least 350$ cause I'm also getting it retuned for my power commander 3 and I'm also replacing the clutch basket. And I rife my bike hard at times like sometimes from the light I'll do a wheelie down the street and go up to 95-110 before I stop but I live in the country where speed limits are 60 on the roads outside my neighborhood.

oh, i don't pass judgement. are you buying an OEM brand new replacement basket? that's gotta be expensive as hell if you are. hopefully it'll get back together quick for you - and relatively cheap

If you need a clutch basket then buy the kit below on ebay. Its the recall replacement kit for the 929 to make it the same as the 954. I purchased the other kit from this seller because my clutch basket and center are worn. The basket alone from Honda is over $200. The recall kit comes with several pieces that can save you money if you are replacing your clutch.
