02 954 have title not PA notarized & can't register
The title basically says it all. The previous owner did not get the title notarized, and I was a dummy and did not look it up to know that I had to do so. Now that I have deleted his phone number, and then looked it up on white pages on the internet, and found the exact name and address as is on the title with a phone number!
too bad the number is now disconnected. I have already gone to the DMV and all she did was hand me the registration papers and say it has to be notarized in PA and sent me away. I am looking for some advice or a clear answer on what can be done.
Thanks for reading.

So you and the owner have to sign the title in front of a notary? You know where he lives, so get it notarized. Unless something isn't on the up and up or he is a total douche, it shouldn't be a problem. I'd have no issues doing it or even applying for a new title for anyone that bought my motorcycle.
I don't even know if he lives there anymore. From where I am to Philly, its about a 7 hour drive. The number is disconnected now. I have no way of contacting him other than taking the chance of driving down there.. All 14 hours haha
I would put some pictures up if I knew how, but I'm a noob. The bike was worth the drive when I heard it run haha. It started out with a rusted and dented up gas tank, flat tires, broken tail/brake light, no headlight, turn signals or horn, and wires just dangling. I've fixed her up pretty good. Now it's time to get it on the road.
