Default rear hugger question?

i just bought a new hugger from honda and my question is if you have to drill the holes for it to fit? i went to put it on today and none of the holes line up. also there is a hole in the front of the hugger and no hole at all for it on th bike.

You sure its not for a 954?

I don't remember a factory tail hugger for the 929?

sorry man. I was able to pick up a 954 swingarm and all the necessary parts for the swap, so I will be needing a 954 fender. If you can't get rid of it (which I highly doubt) maybe we could work something out.?

**** luck dude.

I'm sure they will take it back though. Strange that it said 929...[:@]

I think if I had a 929 hugger I wouldn't be swapping out the swingarm

I will wind up ordering one from Honda. I was cruising around E-bay looking for one, and I figured I would look at the price on www.bikebandit.com

I laughed my a$$ off when I found out how much they are worth. Every other piece was real expensive, except for the 954 hugger... After purchase price and shipping, the e-bay sellers were charging more than the stealership... and these were e-bay stores that part out machines. They should know better, but there is always some sucker who will pay...[&:]

very true.. cheapest i can find a hugger on ebay for a 929 is 80$ from pitec... i think i'm going to just have a clear sticker made for the bottom of my undertail.. hopefully that will keep the paint from being scratched.
