Guy locally is selling a 2000 929 with a 954rr motor installed. Also has a full exhaust, PC, and some other mods including lots of chrome. Bike has a clean title just needs painted. Just wondering if the 929-954 swap is a ghetto swap or easy? IfI buy this bike I don't want to end up chasing all kinds of electrical problems and stuff like that.

 

supposibly its easy, just the motor and wiring harness need to be swapped. I'd have him write down every little thing that he has done do it otherwise if something goes wrong it going to be a pain in your ***.

I'm an ASE certified automotive mechanic. So I can tell if it has something majorly wrong right off the bat.
