power commander map
DO NOT guess and check. Take it to your local bike shop and have them program it for you if you. I get at least 2 people every week that come in and tell me that their bike is not running properly after they installed the pc3 and tried to mapp it themselves. Take it in and have it done properly.
exactly why is everyone so cheap .. they are willing to spend the 250-300 bucks on the PCIII or 200-300 bucks on a exhuast .. but not the 200-300 bucks on a custom tune, personally i got it done for .. 150 or 175 i think it was becuase we brought in 3 bikes at one time so see if you can do that.

if your paying 300 for a map, your gettin raped... i think my dude did it for 10 bucks

we do not have a dyno at the shop there fore we do not charge the dyno prices. when we map a pc3, we hook it to the computer and hook up our exhaust anaylizer to get the proper air/fuel ratio and we adjust it accordingly through the rpm range. we charge 100 for the map and allow several test rides in between each map so the customer can see if there are any dead spots in the throttle. After the 100 is paid you can come in anytime up to two weeks after for a remapp. I can see where shops would charge close to 200 for a map if you're doing a dyno tune for more than 4 pulls.
i didnt have it dyno'd just hooked up to a comp and done up like that... properly mapped.. i didnt know you were talking about getting it dyno'd.. it was done on my 7 50 and it ran strong as hell, i dont kno what they did but i didnt pay that much for it
7-8 hp, that’s usually more than a slip-on or any simple mode you do. Well worth the money.
Your 750 could probably gain more power if it were tuned for your bike.
I think the whole point was, every bike is unique to itself. The only way to positively get the most out of it is to have it tuned for every mod on your bike. Two identical bikes from the factory will turn out different HP on a dyno, so the right map on one could be a marginal map on the other. If it’s cheap than I can understand goofing around and seeing what works the best. But for the trump card, get it dyno tuned by someone in your area who’s known for it.
