this really sucks cause i only just got the bike and the shop says no warranty,everyone says change the shifting fork and maybe couple gears.I read on the 900 cbr the shifting forks can be changed without pulling the engine and just 2 hr labor total,is this the same for the 2001 929?

yeah i think i found a person onhere said he did it without pulling the engine and also didnt split the cases ,said it when done complete in 2 hrs,parts he said where 125.00 -175.00 i willl do some more research but i think i will be donin this one myself cause i dont trust anyone with my bike,,,,i just learneed to ride this thing above 1/2 throttle and noticed it had this problem,,i never noticed it when i took it for a test ride,but now i am more comfy with the feel of the power coming on i have noticed the 2nd gear popps into nuetral 6K pmps,it reallly enjoy ridin my bike but not like a puss,i want to ride hard sometime and 2nd gear is my favorite gear so a will learn to fix this myself cause i think it will happen again.
