Went for a ride the other day and started to hear a loud pop from my front sprocket and couldn't for the life of me figure it out. I was to far away from home to tear into it to see the issue. Bout time I made it home it was to late for me to start breaking it apart and delving into the issue. I'm currently out of town and will be home Sunday. Any one have any idea of what it might can be. Hopefully its not to expensive.

 

I'm having the same problem. I found out that all the lazy chain cleanings I have done finally took it's toll. My chain is clunking when it had to contort to it's smallest diameter around the front sprocket. Long story short. I ordered a new chain and sprockets, just waiting for them to show up
