ok so i have changed my plugs checked the battery and its ok im getting no error codes and im getting about 15 miles to the gallon and poor low speed acceleration from my 929 does any one have any ideas what it could be

 

u should check the air filter, it may be dirty, clean it or better, buy a new one

 

so other than poor gas milage and being a lil slow to accelerate, how does she run?

can you still do lets say 100mph + ?

maybe your fuel pressure regulator is bad!

maybe your injectors are stuck open !

maybe you didn't plug the connectors to all your spark plugs in!

maybe one of your sensors are disconnected ...... ie map sensor tp sensor.



I'm betting one of those sensors are disconnected!

 

what about your fuel filter ?

 

the bike will still dowell over 100 i plugged the coils in checked for open connectors but the fuel pressure regulator leaks fuel from the vacume hose when i pulled it off is that normal and the gas was not very clean looking when it came out the bike did sit for a while like three years how do you check to see if its good

 

did you check your fuel filter ? something has been sitting that long will be clogged up by now and would explian bad gas milage and poor acceleration

 

If fuel came out ofthe f/p reg. or the VACUUMhosewhen disconnected, the diaphram is blown in the

 

f/p reg. Thats ur bad mileage and power problem. Replace the fpr.
