Poor Gas Mileage and Performance
I recently did a valve lash adjustment and replaced the head gasket on my 92 F2. After reassembly, the ticking was gone but I started having performance issues. The bike loses power on acceleration usually in the mid range and is getting very poor gas mileage. I had a little bit of an issue with it bogging out on hard acceleration before but not anywhere near this badly and I was getting 40MPG before this as well.
Any ideas as to what could be the issue?
Also, I'm not sure if this could be related but my dumbass got the ignition coils mixed up when trying to reassemble. Anyone have any good tips on identifying which one goes to which cylinders and the symptoms it would exhibit had I done it wrong?

If you've got the plug wires crossed up, that will cause very poor fuel consumption and very very poor running conditions.
If you suspect that this is your problem, start with the plug wires.
You should feel special, I made this diagram juuuuust for you
