Default '01 F4i Poor gas mileage??

My friend has an '01 F4i which has been a great bike. Has about 16000 miles. He said lately his bike has been just horrible on gas and doesn't seem to perform like it used to. I ride it and it seems fine to me. Anyways we installed new plugs, checked and adjusted valves, and cleaned theair filter. The bike is still poor on gas. Has anyone else had this problem? I am thinking maybe the sensor that senses the air temperature and controls the air/fuel mixute might be bad. What do you guys think?

why does your pix show an F4?

did you sync the TBs while you were in there?

how do the plugs look? what type of mileage are you getting?

clean the injectors with those addativites, and the performance issues might have something to do with the chain and the clutchneed to be re-adjusted

Clutch is fine but I know the chain is wasted. He tried adjusting it but it was so bad that is would have 1/2" of slack at one spot and like 3" in another. I told him to order a chain and sprockets and I guess they are on there way. Now that I think of it, the chain could be binding in spots causing drag on the engine causing the bad gas mileage. I don't know why I didn't think of that. I guess once we get them on we will find out. Thanks
