There is a sticky to download the service manual at the top of the forums, if it isn't working anymore I can put mine up as a torrent if needed. It will show you this as well as many other fun things to do, like change out your fork oil. I personally use Shell Rotella T 5W-40 in all my bikes, the one in the blue bottle. You can get a gallon for $20-25 depending on where you buy. It's a diesel truck oil that has no friction modifiers and puts up with shear very well. Me and my friends switched to it after researching oil analysis reports from other riders that did the same. I've got nearing 27k miles on my bike, bought it with 8k after a stunter wrecked it, and still on the factory clutch with no signs of slippage. Since I can use it in my Jetta TDI as well I have a cabinet of filters and usually 5-10 gallons on the shelf for the car and my 3 bikes. Makes an oil change on any of them a true 10-minute job because I only go to the store for supplies once a year.

Ok since you still have no answer to drain the oil......
Go to the right side of the bike to the right side lowering fairing(which you should remove to get to the oil filter). Go straight down to the oil pan. It is a 15mm bolt. Its the only bolt on the pan that is that size and the other ones are like 10mm. You cannot miss it. If you need me to snap a pic then let me know.

So catty, wtf?

Torque the bolt to 29Nm/22ft-lb when you put it back on. The pan's aluminum so easy to strip and cause a bad week. That value is also in our excellent shop manual we have for free that everyone should download when they join the forums.
