I searched and couldn't find what i was looking for. I'm wondering if anyone knows the part number for an oil filter, for a 92 600 f2. and also wondering where to buy it. will autozone and advanced auto parts carry motorcycle oil filters, or will i have to go to the honda dealer for them. also, 10-40 oil is 10-40 oil correct... it wont matter where i get it as long as its a good brand like mobil 1? thanks in advance

 

uhhh....im not sure it 10-40 is right...i know i put lighter than that in mine.....i go to the dealer for the filter and oil.....nothing else though

 

if you go to advanced or autozone and tell them you need an oil filter for a 92 f2 they can look up what you need without a problem. sometimes they even have deals where you can get the oil and filter for a packaged lower price. alot of people say to use specific motorcycle oil but ive always used regular oil and never had a problem

 

in my 91-93 honda cbr service manual it says 10w-40 viscosity is ideal for temperatures from 20 degrees to over 100... and it also said that 10-40 was the standard.. correct me if the service manual is wrong. i was just going by the only resource i have available to me hehe. thanks for the help tho guys

 

used mobil1 10w-40 full synthetic for motorcycles.
