Even if you can do all the work, I would go with the bike that's ready to go.

You shouldn't have to spend as much for 2 bikes that are not complete to make one bike as a bike that is ready to go.

Think of a price that you couldn't pass up. That is the price you should pay for the 2 bikes. I would say the 2 bikes would be worthwhile for $1500.

 

Were those bikes in dayton, OH? If so could you pass his number along. I have a guy needing a bike for 3K or less.
