Never heard of the brand before. How much are they asking for it? The standard Yuasa runs like $110 for this bike depending on where you go. I went to www.batteriesplus.com and got one for $80 at the local distributor. Good battery and a 1 year warranty compared to a 6 month on the Yuasa. Only other possible place to get one affordably is at like Meijer or Walmart, but they will still probably have to order it for you.

I was a little iffy on the Walmart/Meijer brand batteries myself that's why I didn't pursue that direction. The batteries plus distributors have batteries for EVERYTHING imaginable. When I walked into the store I was like, I can't believe there are this many different freaking types/sizes of batteries. They had batteries from the smallest hearing aid ones up to heavy duty marine ones. Don't mean to endorse them, just was a little amazed, it was good enough for me to drive 25 miles to get it as opposed to the 1 mile to my local dealer for the Yuasa. The Yuasa has been pretty reliable since I bought the bike in May 2001 so I can't complain too much about it.

Only issue I have is could they have made it any more difficult to get the darn thing out of the battery box??
