This is my first post so if i put it in the wrong place sorry.

I have an 01 929rr, the pipe on it is stock and looks like hell, its long, wide just looks bad. I want a shorter pipe, not as long nor wide, i think they may call them "shorties" dont know where to find one how to get one, what it takes to install them, somone please respond to this sos.

Sorry in the new pics gallery user pixel 6 and zoniebutt have similar pipes to one i would want. Also i want to stay quiet i do not want a loud pipe IF possible.

 

Most of the short pipes for the 929 are custom made. I don't know of any that aren't. It's up to you to be creative and make what you want. The sound will likely be louder if you make the pipe short. Just go with an after market pipe you can find a good deal on. Ebay is a good spot to start.
