Hello, I have a 2000 honda 929 RR, yesterday i went to start it and it just reved on its own with a high squeal, it now feels like its missing or spuddering any ideas what the issue may be?

 

How high did it rev up? I would check the plugs first, unless you have a power commander......clear indication with my bike of a fouled plug was it sounded like a harley.....

 

Thx, when it starts it just reves up on its own, when I ride it it feels like its sputtering a bit, changed the spark plugs and it sounds the same, I think theres a rattleing sound to the left side, it runs but it feels like its missing when I try to speed,

I tightned the servo motor screw, it was loose also kinda smells like its dumping gas also
