so i totally agree with you guys on lowering and stretching and it making your bike harder to take corners, and not to jack the thread but on the same track.... i decided to go the lowering route myself and just put the dog bone on. The actual link has about 1/8 of an inch "play" or side to side action in it.... will this affect me?? from what ive been told it controls only the up and down motion so it shouldnt affect me.... any input appreciated!

This whole thing raises a question...

Mikey, if you're in to that kind of riding, why in the H-E-double-hockey-sticks did you stretch.slam it? Makes no sense.

I either call bull**** on your bike or you. Someone's fibbing.

here ya go dude!

i see, its not to bad of a stretch, it looks like you used the blocks, what brand did you go with? i thought about it but didnt want it to affect my handling and i do speak from experience.

this was my previous ride

fastest production sport bike in 2000, and pretty much since, ungoverned and would max out at 199mph-no mods.

i cant recall the name of the manufacture of the blocks, but i have rode a stretched 12 and a stretched busa and my bike handles nothing like them its like 25 times better, of course the busa was really slamed, you cant really call my bike slamed though. both are such heaver bikes than the 929 to. but nice 12

cbr blackbird? that was funny, no its a ZX12 and it was a moster! the thing about big bikes is they only feel big to light weight riders. me at 270lbs anything less than 500lbs feels like a toy under me!

now I've owned
88 fz600
87 vfr700
91 fzr600
00 zx12
01 yzf600r
01 cbr929ER

Well this guy clearly hasn't been able to get the best handling out of his 929:

I'm sure someone is real proud of that bike. But I'd spend like 3 days raising, shortening, then getting rid of those stripes the fun way lol
