Remove the seats. The front seat has an Allen bolt on each side. Lift the rear corner of the seat to access them. Be careful not the lose the shoulder washer.

To remove the rear seat, remove the "Frankenstein" bolts and spacers from each side and the 2 10mm bolts and nuts front the center bracket and detatch the spring.

Gently flex the front outward and lift the fairing off. You will need to work it around the R/R on the left and the wiring harness on the right.

Haven't seen one. Which are you trying to remove?

They are pretty easy to get off. All the bolts and clips are easy to spot, except the one behind the headlight for the nose fairing. Take off the windshield to get at it.

I don't know that I need to get the nose fairing off. I'm got the bike in November. I plan to flush and change coolant as well as oil and filter. I'd like to clean a bit under there as well, although with only 7k miles on the bike, everything looks new.

Do the clips break often? Should I but a few extra? I know on the older cars I've worked on the plastic gets brittle and though designed to pop off they often crack or break.
