Well youre gonna start off by takin off the rear seat. you should know how to do this.
Then take these 4 bolts out.

Remove the front seat bolts on both sides

Remove the tail piece by pulling up on the very back of it. it should come of easily


Disconnect these wires, they will have thise black piece of rubber around them just slide it back and disconnect them.

 

Remove the two bolts on both sides for removing this assembly.

Pul straight back on this piece to remove it like so.
this is what the stock assebly should look like. now if you cut right where i put the red line it should end up being flush with the other piece that holds everything together. i used a lighter to kinda singe the edge of where i made the cut so it wasnt ridgid and it looked smooth like factory.

this is the piece that you need to buy, they are only like 4 bucks at the honda shop i would buy 2 of them just so you can get the holes right on the first one cause it will be really sloppy and the holes will look nasty so if you buy 2 then you have another 1 to make look nice once you have figured out where the holes go. the piece is called an inspection sticker bracket.

once you have to hole drilled slide in onto the back of the light like so.

put the bracket on the back like this and screw the nut back on.

now slide the light back into the assembly run the wires where they need to go and bolt the bracket back into place.


this is what it should look like when its all said and done.
