Honestly, just get a nice AGM one. I only put crap batteries in bikes I sell after a year. I've had the same battery for 3 years now and only use a tender every other month in the winter. First winter I didn't use one at all and it started right up in the spring after 4 months of 10-35F temps in a pole barn.

I have the yuasa now, but the one at batteries plus in only 5 less CCA and 1 less AH. Because it has a slightly smaller capacity I'd just take the $60 saved and spend $30 on a tender to use all winter instead of rotating them between bikes. It's a good idea to use a nice tender if the bike is not used for 2-weeks anyway even in the summer.

I've good luck with Yuasa and I also have a Yuasa battery tender. I'm a dealer for Yuasa and that's the main reason I bought that brand. They are a little pricey if you pay full retail.
