headlight problems
my headlight stoped working all the bulbs are good and i replaced my relay and it still doesn't work i have power to the relay but nothing out any ideas could it be the switch ? if so how do i check to see if its broke
Had the same problem once upon a time.
It can be a switch... but not necessisarely the one you're thinking (high/low beam).
Check the switch on the right hand side... mine had a intermitent short at the start button. Pull off the right hand start/stop assembly, and short out the leads that bypass the headlight when you crank the bike over. Mine failed there. If you're good with a soldering iron, you can resolder the wire onto the pin.
(note that it may LOOK like it's connected... so give all 4 of the wires that connect to the "push to start" switch a good wiggle and make sure they are truely connected.)
Good luck!

do your illumination lights work on the gauges? do you front runnig lights or turnsignals work? i would check the ground going to your headlight it is the green wire, i have had headlight problems for a while
it's really common for stuff to shake loose. i never had any issues but my friend's 2001 CBR600 F4i had an issue with the frontturnlight after he upgraded to flush mounts.we kept looking at the turn signal and turned out to be a problem in the wire harness...go figure.
are u using a volt meter to test the relay with?
