ya there is a "cruise control" for bikes if you have a cyclegear store around or if you go to cyclegear.com you can order one there are 2 kinds one is $12 and its more of a palm cuise(hand still on throttle)control takes 30sec. to put on or if you get one like mine its about $25 and its "vista cruiser" takes about 10min. to put on, thats the brand and that one u can actually take your hand off the throttle its pretty sweet i've had itfor just over a year and its a godsend. enjoy

I got a 929 as my 1st bike. Absolutly love the bike. I did have the bad vibrations in the handle bars that made my hands numb on 15 plus minute trips. I did some research and found some bar ends that where suppose eliminate the vibrations. I got them in the mail installed them then took my friendssport toureron a little trip to test his bars. Jumped on mine and did exact same ride with out any vibration. These things are awesome. My bike is my daily commuter as well as weekend crusier so with the bar ends my ride is 100% BETTER.

http://www.hvmparts.com/honda.htm

This is the site, I used paypal, they got to my house in 3 days. I bought the heavest ones the 1 pound ones, installation was simple got great instructions and all. I can not say how much these things improved my ride. Total price was $63 with shipping and all. This is the only place I could find that sells this item.
