Guys, need help over here. PLEASE. ANYONE
OK, so, i gave the bike a bath, hosed down and washed it and then chamied it off. parked back in my garage. hours later, my uncle came over, hasnt seen it before, turned it on, gave it a rev, turned it off. now, this is the problem, the blinkers wont go off, they stayed on constantly even without the key being in the ignition at all.only way i can stop them is to disconnect the battery. i have an alarm on the bike, i'm thinking thats shorted out and is giving constant power to the blinkers, it has a reserve power source so it does make sense. but how do i fix it? i've pulled the fuse and nothing, so i disconnected the actual blinkers. what do i do? could it be a problem with a relay? or blown the solenoid or something? i'm mechanically minded, but i hate electrical problems and wiring.
any idea would be a massive help. i'm in a real tight jam here, i was supposed to go to the track this weekend but now my bike doesnt work!
if anybody can help me, i would be so happy, this is really upset me, i've got two bikes and cant ride either, my first bike (rvf400) is in pieces, rebuild and i'm very edgy for a ride.
