Good luck at the track. You should have a great time.

You are correct when you say this is not a gang. A gang is more selective of who they let in. well conrice, thank you and req.are a full leather suit sum type of different kill switch, riding boots.i didnt do that well i was really nervous.and the bikes there were so much faster it was embarrassing.thought my 929 had more to it.if the 929 wasnt so damn pretty,i might be looking into a 1000rr!although i am a newbie, other bikes shouldnt be pulling away at a good speed.1 guy had a i think s1000 bmw,was running 150mph,i got 132 my highest,i think 11.112 was the time.his dad had a bmw 1340,and i had him almost to the end,he got me though.they gave me 2 chances, each time i passed 120mph.one thing i will say is it was fun and a great exper. for the price..i was a little worried about the bike, the cooling fan was unplugged bike overheated, fixed plug ran good.drove it 70 miles there, dragged it,and drove bac,so i guess all in all its a solid relieable bike, just thought it had alittle more umffffff.!
74demon,thanks,i am sorry, just aggravating waiting months to post a pic..but i thank you.meant no offense by it,just venting.

929rr is much quicker than 11's

How were you using your clutch when shifting?

I'm curious if you've gone back to the dragstrip since you're last adventure? What gearing are you running?
I have my 929 setup for drag, my best is a 10.12 but still at 133. I cannot seem to get past the 133 hump to get lower times. I'm currently at -1/+4 gearing. I've tried -1/stock, -1/+2 and -1/+4, still stuck in the low 130's. I'd like to see 9.90's oh natural, but I may end up with some laughing gas helping to motivate this turd into the 9's.

going to watch tomorrow, never found leather pants and not paying hundred's for a suit to wear 4 times a year,so not sure when i'll get back on the strip.my gearing was stock,no power commander, just air filter and muffler,i just went -1 in front a week ago,and installed a power commander.as for breaking into the 9's,not sure your going get a 929 without modifing engine to run that.,not saying you cant but it'll be hard.i think it's more about you leaving the line,i did use clutch shifting, and i didnt jump off line,or i bet i would have gotten 10's.good luck racing, and hope it helped somewhat
