My only key broke off in my gas tank. I have removed the triples and took off the plastic piece at the bottom of the ignition cylinder to find the security code but there doesn't seem to be any code there?

I am missing something? Do I have to remove something else? Is it possible that I just may not have a security code stamped on?

I know a locksmith can cut it from the ignition but I would save about $50 if I could just get a key cut from the code. Any help is appreciated.

 

Its on the side of the key. Three digit number.

 

It's on the part that came off in your hand. Like Jeff said, stamped at the top.
