does anybody know where the 3 digit keycode is located on the ignition? i tried to look around but didn't see anything or at least not any 3 digit numbers

or does anybody know the size of the torx bit to take off the ignition? the service manual doesn't mention it

 

I just replaced my ignition switch today and noticed a number stamped in the face of the switch housing that houses the steering lock bolt. No other numbers visible on the body.

You need a T40 to remove the bolts. A T30 might work if the bolt isn't seized.

So i got the t40 but the bolt is on there pretty damn tight, anything i can use that might loosen it? If not to the locksmith with my helmet lock i go
