where to find ignition on power only

Default where to find ignition on power only

i need to run some power to my new grip heaters (which are 100% awesome!!!) but i have it wire so even if i turn the bike off they can still be on....whats the easiest way to get just power when the bike is running or on the on the position....thanks

Wouldn't you rather use a switch to kill the grip heaters when it's warm out?

Or are you just wanting to make sure you don't forget to turn them off?

Just use a test light on your fuse box and pick a fuse that's only hot when the key is on.

only so i dont forget to turn them off....right now they have a high low off switch but i already forgot to turn them off and now i have a dead battery....i'll check out the fues thing....i know i'll be able to go off the highlight one but i dont want to take too much power away from anything....we'll see

I know what you mean... that's why I suggested running the wire right off the fuse box supply so that you're not adding any stress to your lighting wires. I'm sure the heaters pull a couple of amps and would add a lot for heat to your lighting wires.
