Anyone running HID's on low beam??

i've had mine on the low beam for a few years now. no problems.

Low and high are the same bulb/brightness. The high beam side is angled higher up than the center low beam. The HID gives off plenty of light. I have a tinted screen on mine and just tucked it in there behind the cluster. Did the same set up on a F4i. 6000K bulbs are the brightest; 8000k are slightly dimmer but have more of the blue tint to the light.

Well I like to update this and I already installed the HID a few months ago and works great then the shock bulb a big differences in the lighting like I new it would be . I installed the 6000k bulb and it was just to much blue tint to it so I installed the 5000k better light all round .

Now with the high beams I just bought a set of super white bulbs from ebay.

Now people see me coming day or night ;-)
