Hi!

I just bought a used 929 rr erion edition and it doesnt leak or burn oil but there is this little oil smell when I ride....any has that happened before?

 

got a aftermarket air filter?(could be over oiled) and unusual smoke, out of the exhaust? (could be "blow-by")

 

good point...I havent pulled the filter out yet.I will pull it out and look at it...Is there a vent maybe on that engine?I noticed that the dealer added a bit too much oil too in the engine...its passed the second full mark line.

 

could be blowing it out of the airbox, or into if it has WAY TOO much oil. up to a quart over SHOULD be ok

 

I dont think there's that much more oil...maybe half at the most..
