Tire choices....
Pirelli Diable Corsa's were supper good to me. 5000 miles before I saw thread. Many wheelies, hard starts, and travels in excess of 150 mph. NO BURNOUTS. I just switched to a slightly harder compound, with the Pirelli Diablo's, we'll see how they run for me.
Shinko tires are garbage.... They're super hard and when they get hot they feel like you rubbed axel grease all over them. People only buy them because the're really cheap...... Just remember...you get what you pay for
thats put pay to that idea then lol. looks like serious net shopping now. here in Venezuela your ok if you have a phut phut or scooter, loads of rubber for them, but anything above a 600 size and you pay for it with a arm and a leg!..........p/corsa are now $450 here, and thats quoted to me today!
Avon seem ok for commuting probably but if you are agressive or doing track days..........it's worth an extra $50 to me to have the knowledge that the tire I'm on will keep from hitting the deck. People skimp on tires all the time and run them ragged.......they are the only thing keeping your azz off the pavement......spend the money on some decent tread.
For commuting almost anything will work ok. Conti's Road Attack sucks under the power of a liter bike at the track FYI. LOL. My brother wanted the Sport Attack but they sent a road attack......there was not much attacking going on. The smarty he is brought his Corsa's along and life was again good. They do seem to make a good street tire though.
