is ther a cure for this?
[8D]i picked up a real nice usedupper fairing for my project 93 900rr, the thing is there are 2 threaded brass inserts in the top of the fairing that are missing. is there anything that i can do or use to replace these, i went to the dealer and they had nothing for it no part # listed to order any. i can get away without it but if everthing is mounted and i happen to hit a good bump it may rattle.
any ideas?

I cant remember the name of the stuff, but its a self hardening clay, rough up the inside of the hole, stuff it full of the clay, then spray down the bolt with lubricant or oil or something along those lines and screw the screw in there. The clay will harden and it will stay in the mount. I cant remember the name of the stuff but it works
just gets some fiberglass resin and a nut or look at the hardware store for one of those round threaded inserts they have in the nick nack drawer. Scuff it and use Wax and Greese Removser then fill that hole with resin and let set. Its really easy and epoxy will work just as well. Just gotta make due with what you got in a situation like this.
Permatex makes a plastic epoxy OMG it is great. and it gets hot as it dries so it fueses to the plastic you need to put it to.
OR you could do like i did and molded all the front fariings all in one piece
YES all one peice front.

JB weld might work as well or Gorilla glue is another option. What part are you talking about? is it the headlight screws? I can't think of any other threaded inserts in the fairing.
