Can anyone help me find the right rim to purchase? I want to switch my factory 16 in front rim out for a 17 in front rim but I don't know which rim will fit on my bike? Should I try to find a 929 tire, 954, another year model 900? Perhaps a total other bike rim? If you have any idea please let me know.

 

i think you can use an f2 front rim.

 

Any year F3...or older VFR750 front wheels. If your bike is 98-99, you'll need spacers and some patience--don't ask me how much cause I don't know...

 

i have an friend from germany. he put all the front on his bike. 954 front.

Do you know what year model of 954 rim he used? Did he have to make any modifications?

 

I'm missing the point there ... it does look like a 900RR 16" wheel on the pic.

Either swap an ENTIRE 929/954 front end or put an F3 rim on it. As stated, VFR rims of similar vintage work but I'm not sure which one.

 

what year is your bike? I have completed the Swap on my 95RR and Im loving it. I used an F3 rim. The rotors are bolt up and the same spacers work. This was a easy change out but hard to get a rim.

90-93 VFR750
95-98 CBR600F3

You can mount a front wheel from a 94-97 VFR750 but you will need different rotors.

I just got a 92 VFR front wheel and it swaps right on.
