I recently bought a 93 900rr. I am having the same problems as in this thread. I currently have a strong seafoam mix sitting in the gas tank and am going to let it sit in the carbs for the day and then run a tank of gas through her to see if the helps. I picked up some new NKGs from Honda and am going to replace them as well as the fuel filter today. Also take a look at the airbox and air filter while I am there, I have an unknown aftermarket pipe that was installed on the bike when I bought it, and am unsure if the air filter is stock, clean, dirty or what. I have a jet kit on order and plan on putting it in either way. If the bike is not jetted it should be, if it is, new jets and a good cleaning can't hurt. I will update tonight when I am done with the job. Any ideas or suggestions are welcome. I am thinking about syncing the carbs, but don't know if its needed. I don't have the vaccum gauges, its going to be cheaper to get them and do it myself than to take it to Honda and have them clean and sync the carbs.
