RE: Speeding at over a 100mph
After that 218mph moron in the summer of '05, I don't doubt that the state has had a lot of pressure to set an example.
NOTE: I don't believe that guy was going 218mph... 170mph tops. He was riding an 1100XX!

BUT, that probably promted them to make an example out of the next dip **** to do it, hence the 100+mph auto loss of license.

ORIGINAL: gixxereater
It was 205MPH and he was riding an RC-51. He wasn't anywhere near 200mph. I doubt highly he was anywhere near 180, 160mph MAYBE. All it had was aftermarket exhaust and dyno tuning with a PCIII. The dyno shop that did the work said it was only like 130hp or something.

RE: Speeding at over a 100mph
so you guys are complaining? well picture this... Here in Fiji Islands the National speed limit is 80KMPH, yes 80KMPH. So imagine my struggle. i am thinking of migrating to another country where they have a higher speed limit. My 1999 CBR900RR also begs for more speed so i have to satisfy her, of course! Have been lucky so far
