Default shift/cluth problem (stupid)

Ok, finally got my bike back together (body wise). Repainted, powdercoated rims, new tires (pics coming soon) and took her for a long ride yesterday to make up for lost time. I was going pretty slow when my problem happened, new construction in the area. So in 2nd, about 5k/rpm and accidently hit the shift lever with my foot and threw her down into 1st, skipped neutral. Jolted me forward a bit, completely wasn't expecting it. Has anyone else done this? Could my clutch be going bad? I wasn't grabing the clutch at all, now it's got me real cautious cause I'd hate to do that at high speed/rpm and get thrown off!

you find you can change gears without the clutch on these, it has happend to me. i keep my foot under the lever at all times unless changing down. got quite used to changing without the clutch when accelerating at high revs as well now lol

wouldn't worry about it, but SAS is right, you should always keep your foot under the lever to avoid this issue. And you could never downshift at high RPM, its only the lower cruising RPMs that its possible

excellent! I was hoping that it wasn't possible at high rpm, just didn't know. usually try to keep the ball of my foot on the footpegs then slide the toes when shifting...
Well, here she is, I'll throw a couple new pics up here and add others later...
