Default rebuild started after 8yrs

i started the rebuild of my 1993 cbr900rr i have owned since 92. i spun a rod bearing 8yrs ago and it has sat since then. the motor is done and in the bike but i t has been so long that i don't remember if the fuel pump cycles when key is turned i don't remember anymore. it pumps a little with the engine running but i don't get fuel in the beginning. i have two of every part on the bike except a fuel pump. let me know if you hear yours before start up.

That's a good question. I dont hear mine when I turn on the key but it may be because it is already primed. I will try to listen when I get home.

remove the fuel pump. Direct fit the fuel line from tank to filter to carbs. I race mine and it actually seems to have more power. We had a fuel pump problem at the track and 2 other 900 racers came to our pits and said get rid of it..and several other things also.
