Default Rattle noise

hi guys, I've now replaced the timing chain tensioner on my 900rr. I still have a slight ticking noise or rattle noise some where. The old tensioner had definitely had it, on inspection of the old tensioner it looked like something had broken off at the base of it. I would greatly appreciate some help on where to go next to look for the rattle or ticking noise I still have, at times it sound like its coming from the nearside of the engine. Many thanks in advance.

Ticking noise is very often a leaking header joint, sounds like a metallic tap tap tap but is actually the exhaust gas escaping on one or more of the header joints, take a metre length of hose, put one end to your ear, run the other end of the pipe around the header joints on the engine running on tick over and you’ll find the joints that are leaking.
