Default question

Awhile ago, I dumped my bike and wrecked my forks. I have a 98 cbr900rr. I have recently come across some forks off a 96 900rr. I know the forks for these years are different, but are the calipers the only thing that needs to be replaced? Does the front tire need to be from a 93-97 also? The forks I could get are full with the lower tree and axle. If these forks could work I would much rather use them over spending more finding forks off a 98-99.

Default RE: question

from my experence bro, sell that 96 **** and buy only 98 stuff. There are WAY to many headaches trying to match up parts. I have personally gone through this ordeal after a wreck on a previous 98 900rr. Trust me!
