Got a 99 900rr. Just got it about a month ago. Under a load the motor wont go above 6500rpm. I have the throttle wide open and it's hanging up. It feels like it wants to break through, but something is holding it back. I don't know what the deal is. Anyone have a clue? It's really hard to start in the morning as well.

 

Carb issue, sounds like your float is getting stuck. Carb clean/rebuild time
