So I have a 97 900rr with a yoshimura exhaust, k&n oilfltr, Factory brand jets.Just got my bike running again the problem is that its only starts and revs WITHOUT the airbox, Im guessing its a highflow airbox because it doesnt look like the diagramed air filter, more like small blue sponges.Anyway, when I put the airbox on my bike it dies, it will faintly start and cut off immidiately?/ Take off the air box andit runs fine???? doeanyone have any suggestions??Im going to take the airbox apart and put the sponges into the snorkles..Other than that im stumpped

Just cause not alot of people read the 900 section and i think you posted this a couple days ago..and no one seems to have any new ideas for you, including myself.. Sorry pal.. But a fresh set of eyes might benefit you!!!

I had a friends 600 running on 3 unless he removed airbox then it randomly started working 30 minutes later it ate the valves threw a rod and blew 3 holes in his block putting plumes of smoke everywere not touched a 900 but the 600 check plugs check airbox etc is clean and check no ram air blockages. Sorry if i havent helped at all
