motor swap??????
None of those will fit in easily but anything can be done. I saw a post on here a while back of someone putting a 1000rr engine in a 900 but it looked to be far from bolt in. Whomever was doing it was deffinatly a competent fabricator. It looked really good. Search for that post and it will give you some idea of what you'll be getting into.
929s and 954s use the motor as part of the frame. Their frames do not have a lower section like the 900 so this might make using one of those a little more involved but I can't say for sure as I've never attempted it or seen a bike it has been done to. Another problem you'll run into is modifying a 900rr tank to accept a 929/954 or 1000rr fuel pump. Not a huge deal though... just cut out the bottom of the 929/54 tank and weld it into the 900 tank.
If you do find any good info on one of these swaps with pics of the job and or finished product please post here. I'd like to see how someone would do that.

I have a 95 900 and threw a rod, I have my eyes on a complete 97 motor.
Whats involved in swaping this 97 motor into my 95 bike?

I remember a few years ago it was all the rage to fit cbr1100xx engines to mid-nineties fireblades. It was in every bike magazine here in the uk, although i never saw it done personally. A lot of work I would think!
