Default front fairing swap

This probably has been covered before but I'm wondering if anyone knows whether the front fairing from a 929 will bolt up to a '94 900rr? probably need the fairing stay, just wondering since I'm thinking of swaping my front for a 98-99 900rr fairing so trying to get all my options out there. Thanks!

Default RE: front fairing swap

Nope not on a 94. You were headed in the right direction with the 98-99 swap. The upper fairing is a bolt on and works with the 94 side panels.

You do however need the following. Inner fairing panels between the upper fairing and the tank. Inner fairings inside the side panels below the upper fairing, and the V fairing at the bottom of the inner side panels. They are a different shape, and are shorter which is why you need the V fairing at the bottom. Windscreen and fairing support brace are needed as well.

It is a much wider cowl, which blocks the air much better. Not to mention looking much more modern...
