ok im going to keep this short and sweet

started this and im now wonder why, maybe ill fell different when I finish

doing on a budget so far the cost are

Light $102 US
Fairing $55
Speedo $66
Bracket $25

unbolt the fairing and disconnect the lights

Disconnect the speedo and bracket from the chassis

I'm breaking the posts up cause I wrote out loads and deleted it my mistake GRRRRR

 

all the bits off

and the bracket that you will need

and the middle photo is where you mount the speedo and mirrors to and look at the big crack in it got it for free but dont think it will do apperently if ur in a crash its the first thing to break so im going to have to buy a new one, ill ring my honda dealer tomorrow

 

airbox duct are to big but if you look at the pic there a big bit that just sticks up ??? whats it for???

can I just cut it???

Ok I spoke to my local Honda dealer and they want $196 Ozzie dollars for the cracked bracket :O no thank you im sure i can find one cheaper

 

those bumps are where it is held onto the fairing stay. You'll need the F4i ramair covers too and they will cover the bumps up

 

Thanks for that but I was told the ram air ducts wont match up to the air box??

What I have done it cut them and blocked the hole with tape

NOW I HAVE A PROBLEM

I drove it into work cause im getting the wiring done there but when I drove it it was like a pregnant PIG

coughing and spluttering with the power down, now would the following reasons do this???

1. No windscreen
2. Speedo disconect
3. ram air not connecting to front fairing
4. breather pipe just resting in front fairing

 

Ok im finished, well nearly just a few bits to go

I have left 5 wires not connected on the speedo cause A: I didnt know what they did and wanted to see whats not working and B: I was tired

and now its not running right no power up in the rev >

so im back pulling it apart >
