I have to say I love this forum.. it's such an active space.. you know?? especially seeing a lot of us are driving twenty year old machines and yet.. everytime I've put a question into the public domain and just like you . have gotten multiple answers..
keep us posted on how it turns out.. whatever you do end up making work, snap some pictures if its not too much trouble.. ideas for our bikes always seem too get reinvented from time to time , because of the lack of parts available.. anyway , hope you enjoyed your holiday..

Thanks Jay, i could wrap them in carbon fibre if they were done to a good standard and they wouldn't be noticed. I will try and get some pics uploaded of before and after, but the weather is playing up at the moment. Happy new year to all.
